Veg Burger | Easy Homemade Burger recipe | Chef Ranveer Brar

    Ingredients
  6. For Patty
  7. 1 tsp Oil, 
  8. ½ tbsp Butter, 
  9. ½ tbsp Ginger, chopped, 
  10. 2 Green chillies, chopped, 
  11. 12-15 French beans, chopped,
  12. 1 Winter Carrot, chopped, 
  13. 2-3 large Potato,boiled,mashed,
  14. ½ tsp Red chilli powder, 
  15. ¼ tsp Garam masala, 
  16. Salt to taste,
  17. ½ tsp Ginger Garlic paste, 
  18. 2 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped,

    For Batter
  19. ½ cup All purpose flour, 
  20. Salt to taste, 
  21. Water as required, 
  22. For breadcrumbs coating
  23. 1 cup fresh Breadcrumbs,
  24. 2-3 tbsp Poha, crushed,
  25. For Shallow fry Tikki
  26. ½ tbsp Oi, 
  27. ½ tbsp Butter, 
  28. For Roasting Burger buns
  29. 1 tbsp Butter,

    For Veg Burger toppings
  30. 4 Sesame Burger buns - whole wheat or plain or multi grain, 
  31. 1 tbsp Mayonnaise, 
  32. 4 to 5 Lettuce leaves, 
  33. Salt to taste,
  34. 1 small to medium Tomato, thinly sliced,
  35. 1 small to medium Onion, thinly sliced, grilled, 
  36. 2 Cheese slice,
  37. 2-3 Black or Green Olives,

    For Serving
  38. Mayonnaise, 
  39. French fries,

    Process
  40. In a pan, add oil, butter, chopped ginger, green chilli saute well.
  41. Add chopped vegetables and sauté it well till they become soft.
  42. Mash the boiled potatoes and add to the pan mix well.
  43. Add red chilli powder, garam masala, salt to taste and ginger garlic paste and mix everything well.
  44. Now add chopped coriander and mix well.
  45. Remove the mixture in the bowl and keep it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes
  46. Remove the mixture from the refrigerator and start making tikki.
  47. With the help of a cookie cutter or with your hands and give it a proper shape.
  48. Now add one of the tikki, firstly coat it with slurry and then the bread crumbs and coat it well.

    For Batter
  49. In a bowl, add all purpose flour, salt and water to make slurry.

    For Bread crumb coating
  50. In another bowl, add fresh bread crumbs, crushed poha and mix well.

    For Shallow fry Tikki
  51. In a pan, add oil and butter and shallow fry the tikkii till nice golden brown in color and crisp.

    For Roasting Burger Buns
  52. Cut the buns and in another pan Toast the buns till light brown colour.
  53. Add butter and slice the onion into rings and grill the onion on the same pan.

    For Veg Burger Toppings
  54. Take the bottom half of bread and apply mayonnaise on it.
  55. Now place lettuce on it and sprinkle some salt then add slice tomato and sprinkle salt and pepper.
  56. Place the tikki on it and the grilled onions again add some more mayonnaise on top and at last
  57. add cheese slice and close the burger with the bun and insert toothpick with green or black olive
  58. Serve it with french fries and mayonnaise.
